Police 'Top Gun' Tweet

In a tweet, posted on the day Azra Kemal died, crime scene investigators congratulated themselves on the speed of their work by using a GIF from the film Top Gun where characters Maverick and Goose high-five.

A woman has criticised Kent police for sharing a tweet congratulating themselves for quickly identifying her daughter’s dead body, above a gif showing characters from the film Top Gun.

In the tweet, posted on the day Azra Kemal, 24, died after falling from a dual carriageway bridge, police praised themselves for identifying a deceased person “within about 90 minutes” of arriving at the scene, above a gif showing the film characters Maverick and Goose high-fiving.

After the tragedy, Kent Police CSI congratulated themselves for identifying Azra “within about 90 minutes of being at [the] scene” in a tweet along with a GIF from the movie Top Gun where characters Maverick and Goose high-five. The GIF also reads “Teamwork”.
